BioVentures Investors, LLC

BioVentures is a group of venture capitalist who are changing the fields of medicine and life science. They wanted their new home to make a bold statement within a small space in the technology and biotechnical savvy Kendall Square. To do this, we set up two orthogonal planes at an acute angle to each other. This established an expanding perspective, making the interior space seem much larger than it really is. The large format carpet pattern was equally bold and was positioned offset to reinforce the line of the angled planes.

The client had an extensive collection of very colorful fine art, which was incorporated into the space. The strength of the individual pieces, and the confidence of the client team, allowed the designers to make an equally strong statement through the use of very saturated colors.
